Frequently asked questions
Is Locksmith Ontario a locksmith company?
No. We are an independent information site. We do not provide locksmith services, take bookings or send technicians.
How do I stop my locks from freezing in winter?
Use a graphite or lock-specific dry lubricant before winter, keep keyholes covered where possible and use a commercial lock de-icer rather than hot water, which can refreeze.
How can I check that a locksmith is reputable in Ontario?
Ask for the full business name, a written estimate and proof of insurance, check reviews and confirm any municipal licensing that applies in your area. Be cautious of unusually low phone quotes.
